Peter Schiff's recently opened off shore bank that can keep bullion and issue a debt card which spends your held bullion...

Very interesting products - brokerage accounts, normal accounts etc etc

    What do you guys think?

I seriously detest apple for this reason. Such an arrogant, big brother, nanny, stalinist approach.

I know, I should have said bloody iPad, Flash doesn't work on it.

I think it's just the home page anyway, having a poke around the site now.

You'd think they would have AUD accounts then. This is something I am considering, or something similar. Just to put a portion of my salary each month into a 'gold' account.

This little duck would not touch any unallocated or allocated storage. You have no guarantee they are not "borrowing" it and using fractional ponzi banking games with your bullion.

Take delivery and store it in your safety deposit box in your capital city bank vault.

    Kind Regards

If you can't bone it, you don't own it >_>

The fees are excessive. Reminds you of a cow in a milking shed.

Hes a smart guy, when the mania eventually comes instruments like this will make him millions

From all the videos, articles, debates, speeches etc Ive seen from Peter Schiff he seems a really nice bloke so I hope hes not blatantly ripping people off unlike Eric Sprott

Has anyone dealt with Euro Pacific ? I would be interested to hear any experiences - good, bad or indifferent.

Being looking for an offshore bank account for some time now for a SHTF scenario - its been a very frustrating exercise. I am wondering if this one will fit the bill. Not too worried about the transfer fees as it won't be a transactional account.

Singapore has the most solid banking jurisdiction on the planet. (and no capital gain tax)

Yeah Singapore looks good. Unfortunately the only way to open an account is to do it over there in person - none of the banks will let you do it remotely, not even via their Sydney offices. :(
