Pollution and Non-renewable resources have been the hot topic...

So as we look for ways to keep our water clean, we use silver to kill the bacteria. As we look to decrease our dependence upon fossil fuels, we put silver-laden solar panels on our roofs. As we cower at the price of petrol, we by hybrids and mitsubishi 'leafs' which all use batteries that are now being replaced by much safer silver oxide batteries (that do not contain lithium or flammable liquids).

So I guess, silver is kinda a saviour of the planet as well as our finances. It's even good for our health - silver socks, jumpers or band aids anyone?

So I guess Kodak can look for as many alternatives to silver in their prints, it's not going to change just how amazing silver really is. Everyone wants it in just about any form.
