I just used 15% CHOPCHOP on a random buyer and not a store, so it's eBay wide :D (Thanks monopolize)

Reckon I got a great deal. Found a seller with 2 1992 10oz PROOF Kooks in Case with COA

There was one for $325 and one for $340. I just bought the one for $325 which with my 15% coupon only cost me $276.25 which for a 10oz proof I reckon is great value

If anyone else wants the other, its still available for $340, but $289 once you use CHOPCHOP :)

I loaded a few items into my eBay cart last night intending to use the clap10 code for 10% off but never got around to paying for them. So instead I got 15% off tonight with the chopchop code! :D

I bought 5 items from 3 sellers (in 3 different countries) all paid for in the one transaction and got 15% off the lot.

Thanks Stoic, Monopolise, Penguin, et al for posting info on this evening's special or I might have missed it :)

Maybe that's the way to trick the invoice of getting 15%off, a mixed bag purchases... why didn't I think of that?!

who pays for the discount; ebay or the seller?
I mean, if there is a 10% discount on a $100 ebay item, the buyer will pay $90.
Who pays for the $10 discount?

    Paypal is funding the discount.
You have to pay with Paypal in order to use the code and get the discount.

Hey thanks a lot kiona. Appreciate the reply.
I've read contradicting answers to this question, and I've hunted everywhere for the info.
Would you happen to have a link to any references that back up your answer?
    Thanks so much

As long as it's not the seller or buyer paying the discount, does it really matter who pays it? eBay or Paypal would be paying it

As a seller, you still get the full asking price, and as the buyer you get it 10% cheaper, so take advantage of these offers when they come up :)

All things point to Paypal funding, although I guess it could be some benevolent philanthropist who wishes to remain anonymous :p

As far as references go this is all I have:-

From the offer T&C's (line #9)

    9. The redemption code requires payment with an Australian PayPal account in order to take effect.

and these are the Paypal transaction details for a USD $182.00 purchase:

    Payment type: Voucher
    Payment method: - $27.30 USD - 15% off eBay, #CHOPCHOP ($0.15AUD)
    Payment type: PayPal balance
Payment method: -$154.70 USD - PayPal account

    I paid $154.70
The seller will receive $182 (minus standard PayPal & eBay transaction fees)
    Presumably Paypal funds the difference

    Hope this helps :)

Would have been, if the seller hadn't cancelled the order and refunded me within 12 hours :(

Ended up getting a 1959 Mexican 20 peso coin. Paid a touch more/AGW than I initially wanted, but the design was amazing and I decided to get it based on it's looks.

Just the $20 off orders over $100

The 10%/15% offers are random and generally pop up for a single night, so just keep an eye out as I expect there will be a few more before the end of the month/financial year

I don't believe so, but I've made sure I am watching the thread so I don't miss out on any more :)

Also, I think it would be an idea to maybe sticky this thread? Or if not sticky, at the least put all future ebay discounts in the thread so we only need to look in one spot!

Just my 2c on the matter...
