Don't you hate it when a good conspiracy theory turns out to be wrong?

Gee. I really liked that one too.

I suppose I'll have to go back to central banks now!

But what if what he states is true? You can still hate someone while accepting that what they assert is true, yes? Like the two are not necessarily mutually exclusive.

While I disagree with the title fitting the last seven months.
Trader Dan states this is about the lattest price decrease only.

Who knows for sure, sentiment is very low right now. But to think that NO manipulation has happened over the last seven months or so one would need to be wearing some pretty big blinkers over their eyes.

The question is how long can this paper gold price sell off continue?

To borrow a quote from another site [ Gold price is like a balloon being held underwater ]

When it pops up you will be glad to be holding physical.

It is only a scam if "you're not in on it". The Bullion banks will do what ever they can to turn a profit. If they can move a market to make a gain..they will.

Well, doesn't that make central banks that buy gold, a member of the exclusive strong hands club? If true, then every strong hand investor is guilty of intentional manipulation. Is that likely?

Norcini has exposed more than one false claim by the gold bug shills. Notice that the price conspiracy is mentioned by those trying to profit from your belief. The neutral parties, ala Jim Rogers, Dan Norcini, etc. Don't believe in the conspiracy.

menotcrimex, his statement clearly indicates that he is talking about all the takedowns.

"Any "FLASH CRASHES" are being caused by hedge fund selling; not bullion banks."

Noricini is basically saying put up or shut up to the gold bug shills. But they can't put up and if they confess to their lack of evidence, they will lose subscribers, listeners, ad dollars, etc. So, they will just keep talking conspiracy all the way down and eventually, all the way up. Meanwhile, I am hedged/short via DSLV/DUST and sleep much better than when I was long earlier in the year.

I am thankful that I understand these guys. Sometimes, those who appear to be your friends are more dangerous than your supposed enemies.

I let GATA deal with gold manipulation

Manipulation exists in all markets imo

It comes back to that uncomplicated thing called greed

No proof required for human greed now is there.

Buying and holding metals is not manipulation. An example of manipulation would be dumping massive amounts of paper gold at key support levels.

That is why nothing has happened - GATA is just all noise and hear-say.

Not necessarily true. Dumping at key levels may simply be a good investment strategy for some entities, right? And even if there is manipulation taking place, why is it that permabulls never ever mention that the manipulation might just as easily be to drive prices up as it is to drive them down, right?

Well I hope they manipulate up for a while.

Given that gold is the only competition to the governments fiat money, of course there's much more downward manipulation going on then upwards manipulation.

Anyone who thinks gold isn't pressured downwards is kidding themselves.

Merely unsubstantiated opinion.... usually expressed as a way of convincing one's self that they are still correct, regardless of the market price, physical value losses, or account balance. :p

So you're telling me I hold on to the opinion that pm's are manipulated downwards because I need to convince myself i'm correct in my financial decisions. Yeah good one m8
