http://www.abc.net.au/lateline/business/items/201104/s3192002.htm Seems like Self Managed Super Funds are drawing heat and seems like this PAULINE VAMOS lady is driving some sort of campaign against SMSF representing the big funds within this country. I laughed when I caught a snippet from Australian Financial Review earlier in that mentioned a Supernanuation organisation representing the big funds said "something should be done to stop the amount of people going moving SMSF" I would like to know if this was ASFA but do not have an AFR subscription.
Some discussion here: http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-8091-smsf-under-attack-by-super-funds.html
One would think that "getting the punters a better return on their investment" would be a good start.
