I place the majority of my 1oz bars in capsules, including stagecoach bars........like a lot of other members on this sight do.
so hear you are telling people not to touch a stagecoach in a capsule

Its a pretty broad statement to be making...i'm assuming your statement is in relation to stagecoach bars being fake if there in a capsule
Do you have the name of the company/business that has been convicted of selling fake stagecoach bars.
Maybe warning people to stay away from a particular seller that has been convicted , would have been more appropriate.

Key word is convicted, otherwise naming isn't allowed.

You'd really have to dislike these silver rounds to bring a hammer and chisel to it.

Sorry mate I didn't want to offend anyone. I no way I'm saying your bars are fake or anything like that.
I treat bars as bars and don't put them in capsules. Heck a lot of my bullion coins are still in tubes/pouches.

However fake bars are known to be sold in capsules.
To me people making and selling them don't have to be convicted when they sell them $1 - $1.80 a pop:

It really is a shame that they now fake 1oz bars and coins and making them better and better.
With double layer plating we will soon need pretty reliable means to test stuff. Pocket XRF machine?
Specific gravity test is a hassle, especially on the go.

Forgeries in the pm game is nothing new.....agree that its a shame but thats the nature of the beast.
Thats why I became a member of this sight to reduce the risk, deal with reputable people and hopefully obtain enough knowledge not to get scammed.

Having a go at the alibaba sight , I believe is also questionable as they clearly state that what you are buying is plated.

At the end of the day, your views may be different to mind, but thats what makes this sight so interesting.

PS : Bretto - Sorry for going of topic
