that so bullshit... Search and confiscate something off someone because they can't prove they own it at the time. What is this America?
When I move my stuff around I also can't prove its mine. what if he did a f2f trade a while ago or he lost his receipts from stores he got them from...

That guy should be arrested anyway for taking perth mint stuff out of its case.. give him 2 years!

The yanks have a lot more freedoms and live in less of a state controlled police state then us. I would much perfer to live overe there than here.

America has the most people jailed out of any country in the world, hows that for a police state for you? Their freedoms are being taken away faster than a rabbit gets f****

    cant do this here

and police here have a lot more powers e.g. can seach your car / person with no warrent or permission and without arrest.

New laws were passed here recently for the g20 that allow cops to strip seach people the suspect may be carrying a prohibited item.

we are living in a much much much more restrictive society than the USA when it comes ot personal freedoms.

hell we dont even have "freedom of speech" here that is an american ideology that is not enshrined in law here. We can even be arrested and charged for writing an email / post that could simply "offend" someone.

Please research the growing issue of civil forfeiture in US law enforcement and tell me if that changes your mind.

I embedded a video on the subject, here: http://forums.silverstackers.com/to...-the-us-govt-threats-to-private-property.html

We are so much better off here than the US, if a car is pulled over in the US they say "can we search you car?" You say no they then keep you beside the road and say what are you hiding? You must be if you won't let us search your car, how about you let us search your car? You say no, they then get sniffer dogs on the way. The dog then arrives and races around sniffing. An hour after it all started they say have a nice day.

There the police actively I would call it "hunt" people, they look for reasons to pull cars over and find something wrong. Proactive policing it is called.

In the US you do anything wrong and you are going to the crowbar hotel, you cross the road on a red walk signal and you could end up in the crowbar hotel (ok maybe an exaggeration)

You do not do exactly as you are told you are getting tazered or shot.

Spoken from a man from Brisbane who watches too many American t.v programs.

Yeah..that's never...ever happened to me, any of my family, friends...and we've lived here for over 115 years.

Cops is a pretty funny show...but, unfortunately, you're looking at a .05% segment of our population.

    What a clown.
