Right so what hes saying is .... Big jim has a interview done by kingworld news & we should all listen to him because hes oh so wise & enlightened. & public forums are dangerous places cause you could be talking to a random stranger with no financial education ... Huh ? Hellrow ? its why its called the web,its a place where any joe blow can get on the internet and voice their opinions on just about anything & everything. Im devastated, all this time wasted (-proceeds to cut up silver stackers membership) Sarcasm smiley inserted here *
This guy says it's hard to predict the future! I say...HELLO...is anybody there? Did he happen to notice the United States Of America has a debt of 16 Trillion dollars. Did he notice that Congress continues to raise the debt ceiling and the priniting of money continues. Has he lost reality with real inflation in the US? Has he seen how much gas has gone up in 12 months what about other commodities? Has he seen the jobs created? Yes there are jobs created but the majority are public service jobs which the tax payer pays for. Real jobs in industry create wealth but those jobs are not increasing very much at all. So who is and will continue to buy US debt when they know the US is printing dollars hand over fist? Look at the price earnings ratio of many of the US stocks, the PE is out of wack big time! Keep stacking. H
Yeah!!...if he didn't specifically mention Reno, Lamp or myself...well I just can't be fagged watching
yeah, jim is very clear, we just need to listen it once this forum is not a chat room, there is no noise here, we seems to know the person behind the handle  he pick up 'hammer' for sure !
Old people say "chat rooms" to refer to any kind of interaction between two or more people on the internet. There was a period in the mid-90s when they briefly paid attention to what people were saying about this new internet thing and the phrase became lodged in their brains. Discussion + internet + not email = chat room. (Some of the more switched on ones have recently learned the word "blog" and now use it to refer to any website that contains a personal opinion on it somewhere. E.g. the editorial section in The Age/SMH is "the editorial section" when the words are printed in a physical newspaper but they're apparently blogs when the same words are republished on the papers' website. The comments section under the news articles is also a blog.)
I would not think that someone who blogs and web publishes, podcasts themselves, and downloads other people's podcasts to "listen to on their iphone" (which he said he did) was illiterate to the point of thinking like an "old person". I'd be pretty sure he know the difference between a chat room and a forum. just my opinion.
So he is saying that anyone that works for a financial type/investment company should be trusted and everyone in forums shouldn't? Or is he claiming that he is reliable and others aren't? The standard appeal to authority. How about just saying everyone should weigh up all opinions given themselves? Basically people should always think for themselves, because last time I checked there isn't one single perfect human on the planet. And I've gleaned a lot of useful information from anonymous people on forums. You have to filter it, sure, but it's there if you look.
So his advice is think for yourself it seems .
the faster one puts the barrier before all the noise coming in the better off one will be. stopped listening to any talking heads no matter how smart they are ... No! I'm not that smart, but I do not talk on screen that much either ))
...and then of course there are people like sammy who can remember when the bugs in his software were caused by a moth getting squashed on the punch card.
Speaking of the SMH i was looking for something yesterday & went to the SMH archives to find it & when i typed the headline it came up as just the headline then another window opened & you have to pay to look at old newspapers !!!! $15 for one days access or scaled to a years access(subscription they called it ) .What a joke .
