Damn those Panda Mosnter boxes are hard to open!

    We had a tough time opening these yesterday.. but well worth it once we saw what was inside...
    Does anyone know an easier way top open these stupid monster boxes?

    easy, open the Y

    then put the wire on the gap and close the Y

    Bolt cutters is what's needed

    I used bolt cutters for mine, trying to keep the lid nice. Then I ran over the lid with my office chair and cracked it :( ><

    the pliers must have the cutting teeth , and can be tried on the extra wire. check before buying the correct pliers :)

    so the box can be left unscratched :)

    leave it sealed ,and wonder what is in side for 10 years or so:):)..............I had a 2009 panda box that drove me crazy for about 18 months till I finnally opened it:):):)................just a thought...... my buddy has 5 2006 20th anniversary gold eagle sets in a sealed mint box ,probably worth 30k or more sealed 25k if he opens it,his wife is ready to commit him to a mental institution:):),coin collectors are wacky anyway ,who would willingly go out and spend 1000 on .25 cents worth of brass???? answer: A PANDA COLLECTOR....................

    one set of 2006 ASE set is selling for $300-$400 on Ebay, yes, it is opened. So even if unopened set, I doubt your buddy would get $5000 for one set.

    the gold set ........................not the silver set my good man ,you never see one go for less than 5500, the melt is 4800++++++ ,on a good day his 5 unopened sets would do 35,000.00 as you can still send them to pcgs as first strike, as the box has the post date on it, an ms 70 set 8000.00- 10,000 no problem, being unsearched very high probability of 2 ms70 sets at least, issue price if memory serves me was 2500
