    what kind of sand is it? something special you need to buy, or something you can mix yourself from raw materials?

    i have access to lost wax casting equipment. really cool to use. but i always wondered about sand casting for bigger pieces. (brass/copper).

    Chinese graphite is exported to many countries. Maybe China is a choice for you to buy graphite blocks.

    Apparently, Graphite are prohibited goods to export out from China.

    I've bought graphite blocks, rods, plates, moulds and crucibles from China, with no issues.
    Only small quantities though...
