If anyone is interested in watching: http://www.liveauctioneers.com/catalog/30801_collectors-auction-house/page7
I think you are looking at the static page - that only contains absentee bid (who will not participate in live auction). The actual sale happens live, an the static page does not reflect it. In page 1 of this auction listing, at the time I posted, there was a "bid live" or "view live" link (based on whether someone is approved for bidding, or just a spectator) - and that had all the bidding action Overall realized prices are very healthy. Most graded gold MCCs realized higher prices than average Ebay price, but graded silver MCC were slightly below Ebay. There was so-so selection of coins and grades. I was not interested in bank notes and older Chinese coins, so did not follow. Much better auction coming up here: http://www.liveauctioneers.com/catalog/30874_champion-hong-kong-18/page1 Sign up and read up rules if you want to participate. Pretty good selection of MCC here.
