    Hi all.
I am a keen stacker, bur also a mad metal detectorist.
This month i will cash in my dirt money to fund my dragons.
All the coins are circulated amd all are popped out of the earth.
Is there any coins i should hold on to?
The $1,20 cent and 50 cent are the ones with all the variations, some are pretty dirty, some are preserved well.
Just interested to know if i should hoard any key dates or designs.
Im a bit reluctant to see off the booty, but the dollar sinks and the dragon flies.

Funnily enough, I just got a 50 cent coat of arms in my change the other day and put it aside because I'd never seen one before. I looked it up and saw that there were 41,000,000 minted and put it back in my change jar thinking it was nothing.

Were there different types of this 2001 and are they actually worth more than 50cents? Surprising to me if so with that mintage

    Cheers

The Australian cost of arms has 43 million issued, the various state coats of arms are between 2 and 3 million each.

Thanks for all that info. I'll be trawling through them all soon.
Is there a way to post pics up here from an iphone?

To stick a pic up with this reply but cant work it out.
