Coin strike error on 1999 10c peice

    Well was looking through my daughters piggy bank and came across this

    I don't think it is, but just check the Obverse is the same size as a normal 10c piece. A $2 coin may have been struck by mistake. If this is the case the value just skyrocketed.

    nah just a 10c on the other side, looks very normal

    Put a $2 coin on top of the error same face side up, does it match, or is it the same size as a normal 10c piece. The Obverse is the Queens head side :)

    Appears as though the coin would be a collar partially engaged mis-strike or if the rim is struck at an angle, then a tilted partial collar mis-strike..

    do a google image search for "tilted partial collar"
