I often see how confusing some auctions finish,

due to different timezones and the occasional daylightsaving...

I'm no computer expert, far from it, but how difficult would it be to have a permanent clock on the page ?

It would not matter what time it would be (Ben's from Melbourne, why not?) then regardless where you bid from (Brisbane, Perth, Sydney etc. or even overseas) the time on the page then would be the decider for the auction countdown...

Any suggestions, or feel free to tell why it wouldn't work ?

Seems like a good idea to me d-little. Maybe instead of permanent clock, how about a countdown timer showing time left in each individual auction, making local time irrelevant. Or would that idea be infringing on feebay's "intellectual" property?
