Here is something you might enjoy.
I got a 1000oz bar and cut it into slices.
I've wanted to see these around for a while, and nobody else was doing it, so I decided I'd do it myself.
It was a way bigger project than I imagined it would be when I set out, but here they are.
These prices are good for the weekend.
The premium starts at $4 over spot for the big ones and increases a little bit as they get smaller.

The bars vary from 1.6kg to about 600g bandicam 2025-04-05 19-39-15-700.jpg
    $2795

    Just a couple of questions,
How much in weight was the dust?
How many slices do you get out from it?

There was about 100 ounces of dust, I've poured some into bars, I got 19 slices all up, and a ~6.5kg chunk on the end that was clamped into the saw. Screenshot_20250405_190110_Gallery.jpg

I've just seen that BN doesn't have any unallocated up at the moment and that is how I'm replacing the silver as I sell it.
I'm going to have to withdraw these from sale for the moment until they put some up, with this volatility I don't want to leave myself stuck.

I'm buying through BN so it's all in one spot, and I can use it to get another 1000oz bar.
If it's spread around a bunch of dealers that gets confusing.
    They've put some up now.
    Back on.

For me to make these it costs $1.50 an ounce to replace in a 1000oz bar form from BN, $15 in blade, I brought a $700 saw for this, cutting fluid, an hour and a half or so of my time, other stuff.
I have seen people asking about these in places for ages, and I wanted to see it done, so I did it.
Expecting to buy something, that someone made for under spot is pretty ridiculous, I would actually be losing money if I did that. I'm hardly making anything after covering costs and my time at $4 an ounce.

This was a response to a now deleted post.
I am leaving it up because yes, the premium does seem high, but there are reasons for that.

Still have mine ... I'm thinking there's some cool variations on this we can maybe do.
