"Sydney - Tuesday - October 9: (RWE Aust Business News) - Chesser Resources (CHZ) has restarted its drilling program on its Kestanelik property in Turkey. Drilling has begun with two rigs, but is scheduled to increase to four rigs by the end of October. The inferred resource of the project is currently 5.9m tonnes at 2.4g/t gold, for a total of 462,000 oz at a 0.5g/t gold, but this is expected to increase with further drilling. Approximately 70pc of the resource is within 50m of the surface." Sept's Update here: www.chesserresources.com.au/files/Latest_downloads/CHZ1213_3_18Sep.pdf Disclosure - I hold CHZ
Had a look at their report and they've reported their JROC quite conservatively (which is refreshing). Epithermal gold vein deposits aren't the easiest to mine, particularly if the veins are narrow. But being as shallow as these are good operators should be able to selectively mine out the gold bearing quartz viens to maintain a high headgrade.
