Hello Panda Gang. Can someone tell me if these cherry wood boxes are legit, as in are they made by china mints.
    Eg: 160717030256 1998 1&1/2 inbox & 190633318903 this 2000 frosted from Panda-moneya & many other examples.
Are they put together by someone like downies or are they issued by ChinaGold?
Any info or link would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers
    Garry

the 2000 panda would be good to buy and then get it graded at NGC. As far the cherry wood case it's just dressing for the coin, it would be interesting to know the condition of the coin

Mike has replied re cherry wood box, they are made in china (not sure who) & pandas sold in them as an after market bell n whistle. They are very nice but not part of the OMP. Would still like to learn more, like which years (appears to be 1997-2000) are available etc.
    Thanks for all replies.

Here are some original boxes from previous years:

I've found that collecting a whole set of these original boxes is harder than collecting the coins. :)
