I actually like the commsec platform but I'm trading pretty small amounts and at $20 per buy and $30 per sale it's eating into any money I might make. It's not like they offer any advice or anything so as long as any alternative has a reasonable platform that's convenient to use I don't see much reason not to go that way. Even if I could find a place that did trades in either direction at $15 it would be a worthwhile saving. I've seen CMC advertising $9.95, is that a real number (i.e no other odd fees) and if so are the a reasonable service? Who do you use for your small trades and what do you like about them?
