Although i haven't actually bought any btc's / ltc's as of yet I've been trying to learn as much as i possibly can in as short a timespan as possible. It would seem then that anonymity flies out the window at two points: 1. Depositing fiat into the bitcoin system 2. Drawing fiat out of the bitcoin system By "system" i mean one of the public exchanges ... obviously if you trade privately then this does not apply, however - for now - i will assume that most money is going into and out of the system via exchanges. Furthermore it would seem pretty obvious that when one withdraws fiat from an exchange that one could only do so via a bank account or something similar like PayPal, so definitely no anonymity when you cash out! But how about when one deposits money into an exchange ... ? Anybody know of any exchanges which will accept cash deposits in order to 'charge' accounts with fiat??
I reckon coinjar let you bring in cash But yes ultimately if you want to get cash back on your bank account you need to give them your bank account details.
These guys let you do it anonymous https://www.spendbitcoins.com/ . They are Australian you deposit money into their account and will send bitcoin to where ever you like.
Mate, sign up to each exchange, it's free, and they'll have all info you need, that'd be the most accurate source of info. FYI, some take cash deposit from big 4 banks if you're within their limits.
The cheapest seems to be BTC-E. Compare say 600 with Aussies one at 800, its definitely better to try to fund it overseas.
Well, hopefully they twig on before they send off scans of their license/bills/phone/inner rectum? Tell you what Col, I'll PM you my bitcoin address if you like. You send me 1 btc. If you can work out my name & address, I will send you 2 btc back. Bitcoin is not meant to be anonymous by default, and anyone saying it is is incorrect. DYODD to those people believing random things they hear, or thought they heard, or got the impression of. Clearly, very clearly, you can see that bitcoins are capable of being anonymous. A silver forum is probably not the best place to get info on that. But it is obviously possible. Just one interesting example, look up a site called TorBroker. You still think bitcoins are not anonymous? Did you ever see silk road? If the govt could have called up an exchange and deduced who owned the silk road customer's coins, it would have been a lot easier and quicker to bring the place down I'm sure.
