Sorry. I forgot I am going to Adelaide in a few months to sort out engines.
So, this Gem Survey: Minor & Major Prize will be postponed till I settle back home. Got too much travelling commitments to do over the next few months (incl setting up a few small businesses).
Also made a volunteer offer to a forum member for my slave labour to help them out, if they need it, which is still uncertain.

So, I will repost this gem survey (saved copy paste) in a few months once I finish stuffing around.

Actually, this whole webpage has been saved, so the people who have already filled in survey do not need to re-enter.

    SORRY

I should of mentioned; no facets.

Survey results will help me decide on what to mass produce.
So, as a thank you, the first 30 volunteers to fill out my survey will receive one of their chosen survey preferences. Even if we bumped heads and I trolled you. Waiting time will be 2-3 months (as I still maybe in Brisbane-Sydney for another month yet).

SilverStackers.com gets one custom cut opal.

This is completely different from the Lunar series project guys/gals.

Members eligible for prize so far:

This will be the only thread I will be closely constantly monitoring, for both selfish reasons (can't blame me) and for keeping tabs on eligible members to receive free prize. So, even if I don't post in a week or two don't be thinking I have not checked this thread. Sometimes us lawnmower men need a wee break or else we flip wig. Could be in Dare Rehab too.

    About the Prize:
Commercial Grade solid opal will be used for prizes. Your choice, Ridge (black), Pedy (white) or Boulder (sand/ironstone brown base). Value of each prize will not exceed $200 worth of opal, host-stone is free. So, don't be expecting a monster Penny size full-face custom cut fkn.

However, it will be up to you whether or not you wish to have full-face, matrix/pattern or a cheapskate specimen (I am not going to say no to less time and money handed out hahaha). Size of prize will differ and is wholly dependant on the type of opal you choose.

From least to most expensive fields:
-White (Cober Pedy or White Cliffs)
    -Boulder Brown (Eromanga-Winton)
    -Black/Grey (Lightning Ridge or Mintabie)

Major Draw (Open to all completed surveys till announced cutoff date)

The best response survey will receive one facetted Australian crystal boulder opal in one of the following facets:
    -Radiant
    -Brilliant
    -Emerald

Nothing beats Australian Crystal Boulder Opal. Simply the best opal to facet. Worth top dollar. Doubt there is any Aussie Crystal facetted on the market now anyway. I have not checked, and quite frankly don't care, just never seen or heard of any Aussie crystal opal being 'wasted' on facetting. ;)

Value of Major Prize = ~$2000+

    Prices/Value Wholesale-Retail exclusive GST.

Judging will be done by three SS members.Myself as one and two have yet to be conversed and persuaded with as I am typically spontaneous with projects.
