Which is the better investment (out of these three coins)?....

    Canadian Cougar

    Canadian Moose

    Canadian Grizzly Bear

Which do you personally think will go up the most in future (ie. highest premium to come)?

    Welcome all opinions!!

Moose, the grizzlies and cougars both had 3,000,000 mintage Moose and wolves have 1,000,000 also moose are cheaper because they're current year. They're also a nice looking coin. I'd like to get a tube if I come into some extra cash.

moosie would be your best bet assuming you can buy them with the same premium.

Wow! I didnt realise there was so much support for the moose!
I thought the Grizzly would win hands down!! (due to design, its rarer to find at dealers now, etc)

(By the way in answering this question, assume they are ALL priced the same, with a low premium)

Very interesting actually....any differing opinions?

Maybe the grizzly if price want a factor but I still think the moose is a nicer coin and with fewer numbers I think in a few years it will carry a decent premium, much like the wolf.

Yes, could someone please clarify this. I thought all wildlife series coins would be a mintage of 1 million?

If that is the case I'd take the grizzly on same premium, but they are already running at 25% higher than the other two at my dealer!

I only have love for the Cougars myself ... it's one of the few coins I own that I have an emotional investment in ... they're pretty!

all coins in the series have a max mintage of 1 million.

Currently, I think the moose has the most potential. The wolf is already pretty high priced, and can't see it going much higher percent wise over spot because of the mintage. Grizzly is a nice design, but it too already has a decent premium. Not many people I know like the cougar. Most like the moose, and since you can still get it from dealers at normal premiums, I think it has the most upside. Although, I think this series has pretty much been played out already.

If they are the same price I would say the grizzly But ? even more so though i would say the best coins without the spots that is the killer for me on this series.

Where do you come up with your 3,000,000 mintage number? As far as I know, the limit is 1,000,000. Got any links for the 3 million number?

The moose is by far my favorite design. The Wolf looks too much like a coyote, the grizzly looks great, the couger is a let down, the moose is spot on....if there's no spots lol.

    Collecting all the series.
Watch the price for the full set in ten years from now - unless the world has ended of course !

Are you saying it's a bear market?

Sorry about that... had to be done. :D

Moose... no particular reason, I just like the look of it and have to assume that many others share my same good taste. This will result in scarcity and drive prices up
    Right? :p
