Can the hardware wallet companies steal your coins?

    I really liked that video, but was spooked by how he said optimists buy gold and bitcoin, and pessimists buy canned food and guns

    This was a first for me yesterday when I did a retail purchase with a company that only took crypto, but the receipt was in AU$. It all went very smoothly so far, and I just have to receive the posted product.

    Here is a wide-spread Ledger Nano S scam: some boxes contain wallets with PIN codes pre-created and you are being asked to send and SMS
    to a number in order to "receive your PIN code"

    Never buy any from anywhere except directly from the producer. Directly from their site, no re-sellers, no eBay, no Amazon, no other shop.
