the iShares MSCI Singapore ETF (EWS on the New York Stock Exchange) is an ETF that tracks the Singapore stock market. Question.......... Is this on the ASX? Code? Thanks
Yes - ASX:ISG - https://www.blackrock.com/au/individual/products/273435/ishares-msci-singapore-etf If you'd invested in ISG a year ago, you'd be down 13.5%
ETF liquidity is provided by market makers. Providing you buy or sell when the market is open (rather than trading using a limit order out of hours), you should have little problem in buying or selling ETF units. Remember - the ETF is comprised of shares in the underlying index, in your case, the largest market cap companies on the Singapore exchange, so the ETF liquidity is actually defined by the liquidity of the underlying shares.
