The new Calendar functionality allows an event to be added to the forum's calendar, with all events able to be viewed month by month. Creating a New Calendar Entry Start by creating a thread for the event in Meetings & Events Ensure the title is descriptive with the city, event name and date. Put a suitable description for the body of the post, and if there is an external event website, link to it. Add a tag if suitable, preferably re-using a previously defined tag. Save the thread. Under Thread Tools, select Calendar Add. Select the date that the event is on (or starts on): If there is a multi-day event, just select multiple days. Click Submit to add to the Calendar. The event will now appear in the Calendar sidebar: ..and on the Calendar in the specified month: Events can be removed from the Calendar using Thread Tools if necessary.
