Hi all, I'm sure there's a simple answer to this.
I have a ring made of up two exact same size "bands", one .925 silver and the other 9carat gold.
Weight is just under 13 grams.
Any idea how to work out the actual gold weight?
    Thanks in anticipation.

    1) Find the relative density of gold and silver
    2) Multiply the entire weight of the ring by that ratio
    3) Divide by 2
