Buying on the ASX today?

    Might be a light bargain or two. Dow Jones down 250 points overnight; our ASX200 only looking 34 points down, according to the CFDs at IG Markets.

    I might go for a few more Neon Energy (NEN) if it moves down with the rest. Had a good announcement yesterday, but only rose 8%, putting it at 33c where I bought some a couple of weeks ago. Only for the speculatively minded who don't mind a flutter in the oil/gas space.

    Also looking at all the usuals - would still like a few Data #3 (DTL) if it drops enough

    only producers though

    after today my rainy day fund is done

    Silver is in 26.xx close enough to a bottom is close enough for me

    The only thing I've been holding off on is buying back some NCM. Its broken down again so I might grab some next week depending on how things go.

    With NCM i have a strategy to spend 1k ever 10% to the downside

    which means maybe 45 or so shares a pop - so my next intallment was spose to be $23 and change so I was happy to go in at $22 and change today.
