I've bought from them a few times, always received the delivery. If there's a delay, they normally mention it in the title of the item. No Complaints here.
This is not true, at least for my case. Their title says delay of "2 weeks ++" for the 2 oz dragon. Now has been ard 4 weeks. Hopefully each "+" means 1 week extra and not more....
Here's where I humbly and respectfully point out that the use of the word "all", none, every or never can at times be folly and I have tried my best to eliminate them from my vocabulary.
I hear you ,man! BUT Possibly, maybe, sometimes are a good hedge,at times. AND always backed with honorable intent BB have nearly always ,mostly ,hardly ever, let me down
I use BB as my main bullion dealer as i find them very competitive and I have never had an issue. I like to have a more personal experience and always call them before an order to get an ETA especially with supply issues with Perth Mint.
Hello 940palmtx, while I respect your opinion, I stand by my statement, as it has been my experience having dealt with the above and all sponsers on Silverstackers. Kind regards Maggie
Wasn't disputing your opinion M'am and I have none of my own regarding BB. In fact it wasn't even a comment related to the integrity or honor of any sponsors. I was just commenting on the word 'all' And I don't 'always' make comments that are off topic...my apologies
Well as far as I know the 1/2oz, 2oz, and 5oz silver bullion Dragons are still suspended at the Perth Mint for new wholesale orders, so it would be worth checking direct with BB for a shipping estimate.
My international orders are taking longer today to arrive and land, than they bid before the internet. True, I think the reason is fundamentalists idiots trying to blow up cargo planes mid Atlantic. So we all suffer as a consequence with heightened and delayed international post now.
BB is good but i found if you do bank deposit it takes sooooooooo much longer and when i have done paypal orders they have sent them out to me after a couple of days.
That is not very professional of them i must say. Should treat all their customers fairly. Those who bank wire should not be punished for their trust (ie, If a customer decides to trust the merchant by bankwiring, the merchant should reciprocate the trust).
Out of curiosity I'm wondering why you are saying thats unprofessional? Typically a business will ship its products once the payment has cleared. PayPal is instant, providing the payee has funds in their account. Bank deposit can take up to 2 business days to clear. For the record I use BB a lot and items are shipped out as soon as payment is cleared. I pay with bank deposit and this only takes a day.
U dont think it is unprofessional to differentiate customers who bank wire and those who paypal? Granted it may take a few days longer for the bank wire to clear, but so far from my experience, it should not take "much longer" which is almost a month in my case. Anyway, again i repeat, bank wiring requires alot of trust on the part of the customers.
what about paypal gift? so they, the seller gets no charge. Not that paypal offers any protection at all, outside ebay. unless its CC and your bank covers it "only takes a few months (cynical)" to recover costs. if i get paid paypal, i know about it instantly and can post accordingly. My own bank Westpac takes a week for my own pay to clear. so what hope has a customer.
It will take BB or anyone else only the extra few days. I think that the claims of "significant delays caused by using direct deposit" can't be proven, and may just be a coincidence. I have used direct deposit with them and the only extra delays were about 3 days for them to confirm my payment.
I agree that the "delays using direct deposit" could just be a coincidence. Anyway to cut the story short, I am still hopeful that i get to touch my coins
Have used BB a number of times and will continue to do so, but yes their communication does need improvement which has been raised on these forums before. Constructive criticism.
