Dear Bullion Money Members, A quick update to let you know that we have listed the 1oz Lunar Snake coins from Perth Mint for ordering. These coins are a limited mintage of 300,000 and if previous years are anything to go by they will sell out quickly. Ordering is available now and delivery will be mid-late September. We have placed a maximum QTY of 100 per customer at this stage. Also we are unable to show you the image of the snakes due to a marketing embargo placed by Perth Mint which is in affect until 27th August. The remaning Snake silver and gold coin sizes will be available for order early next week. Really? Not sure why you think that.. why wont they sell at koala/kook price like other years? Last year i got dragons at the same price i got kooks / koalas.. unless PM has changed there price structure then i am unsure why you are so absolute in your opinion. BM, if i find a source mate ill let you know! But id say you have better Wholesale contacts than me, my only HOPE is another BB presale like last year. *(all other sources ended up upping there prices above and beyond the RRP) We shall see.. and ill be sure to point it out like last years HEADS UP post. 1for1
yep, as above edit: i guess you can get them for PM prices direct from them, max of 10 or 20 /account or something? but after that : refer to below if you think waiting will get you a better price you are dreaming
Oh the things to consider Do I pay $43 for a Lunar Snake now or do I wait for the (Gilded, Coloured and Hologramed - Final Final Limited Mint Proof 1oz Silver Snake Privyed Dragon) to be released?
No. Why? Because BB will issue them at RRP.. when ... probably 28th.. IF not... then YES i am dreaming (even though it happend FO REAL less than 12 months ago.. many doubted it then until we got delivery .. yes that deal made all others seem like a rip off then and to this day.) If not.. then i wont be buying, am i just one person YES, will my opinion sway the market, NO Is $43 a bad price, probably not given spot is looking like its racing currently and by the 28th RRP may infact be $43. The Past is no gaurantee of the future but to say im dreaming isnt indicitive of reality 360 days ago on planet earth.. if it was a dream it was very very lucid. 1for1
My 2 Lunars worth is, I'm not buying anything right now. $43 is not an outlandish price but the market has not been established yet. I'm sure the sellers at $43 are trying to get top dollar for their stock (as they should) but not until other players like BB, Ainslie etc show their hand will I consider buying any.
If $700 a roll for lunars, then I supposed kooks then will likely get roasted. I really want to see how this will turn out.
Really.. this is news, You talked to them about Snake prices specifically? Seems very relevant if you have any other info? Im priced out of the market at $45 might just get a BRO SS to hook me up one rather than getting 100 like i would at RRP pricing .. im out of the 50% over spot silver game permanantly. 1for1
$45? No thanks. I dont see them appreciating to like $60 in the next 2-3 years assuming a stable spot price which is the kind of price they would need to be given the risk/reward of silver coins versus the opportunity cost of other investments.
Fair Play.. good call.. I think it was a smart play by BM to offer on this day.. and the price is reasonable. It is a temptation. For me i just wouldnt go all in at that level. 1for1
Spoke to them about it today as well, was told around $45 and limited numbers per person due to the long list of customers chasing them.
$43 is just under dragon price... prefer dragons... IMHO 5oz snake/dragon will be my poison for a while
