Bitcoin silver proofs

    I got hold of a 2013 silver proof Bitcoin and a Bitcoin 2013 silver proof but with the gilded 24carat logo on it I'm told both are a little rare only 200 of the gold gilded I'm told anyone got any idea thanks

    Hmm, I don't think those go for a premium cos they're not as rare as the casascius physical bitcoins.

    standard ripped off design on both sides, suggest checking they are actual silver but no bitcoin numismatic value sorry.

    I didn't want to be the first to mention this:)
    I would be checking the silver content also.
    We have so many of these on our local trade site it blows me away.
    And none of them are silver, just the silver and gold Blah blah mil's gold/silver.
    Are you sure they are from franklin mint?
    I have done a quick google search and not turned up much on this

    What's the best way to test if it's solid I can go by the weight and don't really want to acid test them

    Do not acid test.
    I would have simple piece of mind by putting it in a capsule and slide a rare earth magnet down the capsule.
    start by sliding the magnet down the empty capsule and it will fly off.
    Then put your round in the capsule and do the same thing (at around 45deg angle) if the magnet slides down slow then it pretty go indication of silver.
    This is not a absolute answer , but a pretty good and quick indicator.

    Did the magnet test fell very slow and steady and they weigh good so seem to be the real deal
