Well bugger me, after a while on the sidelines, I log in to find BTC @ $1000 + I really should get out of my hole more often I bought a few BTC a while ago for shits and giggles and with the outlook of them having a collector/numi value in the future. Well the value of them has me absolutely stumped, they are now worth more than all my pre dec coins combined, some of which I have collected for over 20 years and seen steady but unspectacular appreciation. I just sold a BTC fan coin at my local swapmeet for $200. my BTC have now moved from shoe box to safety deposit box. Obviously the value lies in the little string of numbers they contain within, but does anyone think the physical coins hold any value themselves?? I can see it now.......PCGS MS65 Cascius Hologram error coin Will it ever happen I wonder??
graded 2011 error coins are already selling for 8-10btc, non graded for about 3-4. let me know if you need more info take a look at this collection for an idea: http://www.ebay.com/itm/261337957731
