Hello, new member here. First post.

I watched the Perth mint spot price Friday. It flipped between around 40USD and 44USD, when the Kitco charts showed a 50 cent trading range. The Perth price in USD never landed the 41s, 42s or 43s, just straight from 40 to 44 and back.

Where did 44USD come from? Don't answer with 'last Monday'!

    thanks

hello an welcome. I think squishing 24 hrs into a graph 4cms long gives you a sense of rapid and wild swings. Here it is stretched over the screen more

Yeah I saw that happen too. I was placing orders around that time.
Up and down $4 and ounce every 30 mins.
I thought I was seeing things, glad not to be the only one.

Wierd. Also noticed when bullion ask was above 44USD, bid was still at about 40USD.

    Seem right?

When buying online from the Perth mint they give you a price that's valid for 1 minute, my guess is that this is the accurate one as opposed to the price displayed on the general screen?
