Bidder wins a 1930 Penny on Ebay for $1000

    Or someone looking to screw up a sale?

    $1000 for a fake coin... I'm really scratching my head on this one!

    Because the listing says it is an imitation :) however then it states 100% original in their spiel ?

    Yeah I saw the exact same style of coin in an antique shop. He wanted $225 I said you must be joking, well I suppose I now look like the idiot hey :(

    At Camberwell market most Sunday's there is at least 1 complete Penny set with a copy inserted into
    the 1930 slot $100-$140

    i can get them for about $15. Made in Australia as well! They also do the 21/22 over date 3 pence for about the same price. They are good copies but a bit thin for the penny
