bi-metal hand pours

    Has anyone tried this?If i have a cold silver and i pour molten gold into it, will it just explode? :D

    No idea but all bimetal coins are two parts pressed together, not melted together

    As a example I pour a skull in silver, then got the eye socket I pour gold. I can't press the 2 together.

    I reckon that would work.
    Melting only enough gold for one eye at a time, so that the pouring is simple, and they can be made equal.
    Can't see how it would explode (if dry). You could pre-heat the silver to be sure...
