Noticed this on eurocollections this morning http://www.eurocollections.com/store/product.asp?id=7226 Looks like a commission piece, probably minted somewhere private in Europe
Is this first in the series? It is around $140 for 3/4 oz silver.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-WHITE-TI...2?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_212&hash=item19d5b643d2 It is a nice coin though
That's how they control how many are sold & what price they go for They wouldn't want to make them easily available would they The Redback Spider was sold that way & it got people sucked in to buying that crap , Each they're own
Gotta remember that Downies and Perth Mint are essentially competitors, so I highly doubt that Perth would hold back on putting a coin online so that one of their main competitors can sell it before they get a chance.
Competitors  Downies would be the PM's best & longest customer If Downies commissioned a coin they wouldn't want to have the PM sell if on they're behalf Was the Redback ever sold by the PM when it was released ?
Yes, as well as every other D&D release after it. http://www.perthmint.com.au/catalogue/silver-coins-deadly-and-dangerous-series.aspx
I doubt it was actually sold at that price 2006 highest price for the first coin And than they get cheaper BS
These were due to be minted by the Helvetic Mint in Switzerland (they clearly don't have the same quality as Perth Mint products) but I've just heard that due to a delay with the client the coins are now delayed indefinitely and outlets are cancelling orders
where did you hear that from ? many outlets / sellers are deliberately cancelling orders with all sorts of reasons simply because they want to hoard the coins in anticipation that the price will soon rocket.
