    Hello,

Kind of new to the game and would like to hear some input into what you think are the most aesthetically pleasing bars... ie which ones are the pretty ones?

I am aware of, and appreciate, the PAMP 1oz fortunas, the minimal 10oz Perth Mint, and I recently discovered (and orderered - woohoo!) the scottsdale 10oz...
I also found on the 'chinese silver' thread the dragon/phoenix piece...

I'm not really interested in the kooks/lunars/pandas etc..

so... illuminate me... (with links as well pls)

I have a First Majestic Bar, which is really nice and high quality too.

Wouldn't mind a few scottsdales bars though. I have the Stockdales rounds.

I'm a big fan of the Perth Mint machined 1kg bars myself. I think they should offer this all the way down the line to 1oz denominations - they'd easily form the core of my stack then!

I may be mistaken, but are they shiney 50 cent rounds I spy in your pic Auspm? If so, they look freakin awesome. Would you mind sharing how you get them so shiney or are they UC coins?

gin-kin's coins, not mine. It's his photo (as specified below).

I know how to bring even old coins to that level of sheen though, look under the 'Today I bought' thread to see my latest purchases. Those 50c and Crowns were dirty before I got hold of them.

as per sammich's ealier post, I did the same and bought them direct from the scottsdale website. Will take a while to hold them I imagine, moreover with the christmas break etc...

will let you know when I receive them as it looks like it will be a bit of a journey...

I like the 10oz heraeus bars, they have a polished finish.
