    Dont know if anyone would be interested in these Belarus 2008 50 Rubles Lynx 1/4oz Gold are going for $$449.60usd on coin mercantile's site. They also have free international postage.

    Which 'race' in RU or ex-Soviet states would you be referring to in particular? Are you confusing something here with stereotypes of 'national identity' perhaps???

    (Part of my own ancestry is 'Russian' btw - although as you'd know that tag means a lot of different things to different people - like generalising that certain groups don't have a sense of humour... I think whatever point you misconstrued is down to you, sorry.)

    Your comment had nothing to do with coins, it was stating a particular ethnic group (if technically a race or not doesn't matter) can't be trusted.
    If you had said "I wouldn't trust any coins coming out of Russia" I wouldn't have a problem - but that's not what you said.
    And although I'm not Russian, I still find such comments offensive.

    And this is not the first time you've made this same comment.

    I don't like the old fashioned Soviet emblem on these.

    The "pahonia" would look much cooler........ a better emblem for White Russia!
