Not unless the Aussie dollar has a huge rally as well. I still bought silver much cheaper than currently when the aussie was much higher.
I think if you take a video of ' backing the truck up' now, then it will soon be on Youtube in the "It seemed like a good idea at the time" section. People will watch it and will cringe just like when they watch the kid on the bike crack his manhood on the hand rail and think "Why did he do it?"
I've switched to buying bullion the past week or so, and probably will continue over the next couple days. Good idea? No idea. All I know is that it looks pretty darn cheap in USD & in USD/AUD. Spot goes lower? Even though the wallet is a bit lighter, I still have a shopping list of some heavy items yet to be purchased.
I did just that too Gatito (switching from heavy emphasis on collector coins/medals/rounds for the past couple of years to almost exclusively buying blobs the past couple or so days). My gut tells me the super retaining wall for silver has just been completed at this low price level. Fed will be raising interest rates in about a month or so and coupled with the general negative sentiment for many other investments and that may be the equivalent of the paint having dried on the super retaining wall. I just read this article the other day: http://seekingalpha.com/article/3460546-gold-bulls-rejoice-as-stan-the-man-joins-the-ranks?ifp=0# Yes, it's a gold fund (unallocated gold), not silver, but I think it signals a sentiment change for some big investors who may see precious metals in general as the right investment in the midst of all the recent economic turmoil. Could big buys of silver ETF's be next? It could and my guess will. Time will tell if my instincts are right or wrong on this. .
It's just as well, too.. I've been getting a little burnt-out on numi's recently. Difficult to get excited in certain areas of that category. In some instances, I'd have to bump up to the next price range to really open it up -- and I'm not ready to do that just yet, for various reasons. Of course I'm always on the prowl, as there are some in particular yet to be added to the collection. But they don't come up for sale very often. And I always try to pick up certain things which track closer to spot, when I can & it makes sense to.. New YPS & Bison Bullion releases, some vintage bars, etc. Again, the availability thing, plus some low serial #'s. Shifting between the phases is nothing new, I guess. Keeps things fresh. I'm sure at some point I'll once again get sick of buying the bullion.

Apparently this guy's truck has been beeping. Not entirely my cup of tea, and wouldn't be spending that kind of cash on stuff like this, but still amusing to watch.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvHD1cLKeqU
The good old days! Long gone for Aussies I think. No need to renew our truck licence for the foreseeable future.
