ABC news tonight. Finance report opened the segment with a SILVER chart. Up 30% Words about JPM. Then " Back from the casino to the "real" world. Anyone else catch it?
See there are benefits in being behind by 1 hour up here in QLD. I've just turned on the news and its yet to be aired
I and perhaps others read it as a sarcastic little piece. As in, well its gone up quite alot, but just ignore it. It's a gamble and already very high. Ie. He was warning people off I think, so we're still a way off phase 3. We've definitely entered phase 2 though. More people will enter silver. When Kohler joins in phase 3 will have started or be underway.
Google ABC/I view click news / current affairs. Probably won/t be put on until after midnight. Yea I saw it on the news and nearly fell off my chair. Regards Errol 43
I believe and hope that phase 2 is the longest phase. I wouldn't mind a few more years to accumulate pms and pm stocks. Although, the higher gold and silver go, the harder it will be for me to buy any. Other than my planned Lunar Dragon and Canadian Wildlife purchases, I don't expect to buy much silver or gold next year.
Poor old Kohler doesn't know his arse from his elbow anymore. Maybe when Mike Maloney comes to Oz next we should get Allan a front row centre seat.
HaHa, just watched this on ABC Iview: http://www.abc.net.au/iview/#/view/679970 Fast forward to 14min20sec
Very interesting. However, the way I viewed it, I might be a bit naive, but I think when he was talking about "the casino" he was referring to JPM's gamble, "big squeeze play caper taking place", "is said to have bet billions that the silver price would fall". Silver is in the news, Phase 3 could be closer than we wish for.
I used to have a lot of time for Aunty but not any more. Not much real journalism goes on there, even easy stuff like world scale theft by banks goes entirely unnoticed. Alan Kohler has been asleep for two years, I think silver might just wake him up. Mark
I agree. Since 2007, ABC has become more fluffy, or as fluffy as the commercial channels. The so called news channel is a joke imo. A poor imitation of other commercial channels. This morning, the ABC really jumped the shark as far as I am concerned by devoting a good few minutes to "Oprah". That was it for me.
The ABC is full of lefties anyway. Alan is just a salesman anyhow, like he actually does research for his EurekaReport.
Too right, I owe my entire economic/political education to the internet. Let's hope the politicians can keep their mitts off it (although I have serious doubts about the USA, that's one scary place). Mark
Theft by big banks indeed. Just look at the US. The US Gov't printed billions of fiat, gives it to the big banks, who then use it to turn a profit for themselves. And the little guy who works hard and pays taxes that then get funneled to the big banks gets what? Evicted from his house and then left jobless. Land of the free - not.
