I'm not sure if anyone can shed some light on this.

As I was born in 1972, I'm looking for silver coins released in that year.

I recently discovered Austrian 50 Schilling coins celebrating the 350th anniversary of the University of Salzburg from 1622 to 1972. On the reverse are 2 roman numerals. One is MDCXXII (1622). The other one is MCMLXII (1962)

I paid about 30% over spot for them, which still has them sitting in the bullion arena. Are they considered mules? Surely I'm not the first person in the world to notice the fault.

I hope the image is clear enough.
