So i'm bullish on war, war is stupid... out poli's are stupid therefore there will be more of it in our future

So? Good Australian Military industrial Complex investment options?

Going forward with currency crises and a coming depression war is VERY bullish.

Anyone got any companies they have looked into?

    TIA

I read this and instantly thought , Could I buy a nuke as an investment.

And then I thought I might get sued for many reasons.

    1) by the people I sold it to if it is defective. Then they would probably use it and ask for their money back.

    2) by the people they use it on for not doing my due dilligence when I sold it to the people who used it.

    3) by green peace for dirtying up a city a little bit. ( aldo would i be liable for the clean up costs?) if so i would have to factor them into final sale price.

    4) by the IAA for welll breaking about 150 federal and world laws.

we could also have a paper system. I will sell all of my nukes 5 times over. Whoever has the Physical nuke wins.

    Sorry just ramabling now.

I know where your head is at, and there's more ways to make money from a Govt in wartime than selling things that go bang to the army. Worst still many of these contractors have protected positions and would be very hard to break into.

The trick will be to find a niche' that an existing company hasn't already taken up.

Your product will never (directly) harm anyone.

If your product's effectiveness is less than stellar, the beauty of it is the user won't be around to critique your product.

Those suits aren't that expensive but if you sell them to a scared population you can charge what you want.

The real money is in the clean up. Get the Australian arm to bomb the crap out of a country and then get the clean up contract. Lots of money taken off the locals to pay for the damage they made us do.

Stocking gas masks and potassium iodide tablets are a good idea. It's not for me though I couldn't rip people off if their lives depended on products I had.

I wish I had a proper answer for you, it's a very smart concept as i bekeive war is 100%, the only thing I can really think of is investing in stocks that mine, or produce minerals or products for war... And as mentioned rebuilding and clean up.

No lives would depend on them, they would only be for 'just in case'. By the time you need to use them it is too late to be buying them. Also, what price can you put on a life? It would be cheap at whatever price you put on it. A suit won't be enough to save you by itself anyway, you need all the other bug out gear. Bug out kits would be good to sell, decent torch, knife, axe, first aid kit etc!

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

I'm encouraged at the amount of negative sentiment to investing in the military industrial complex :) .

But to play devils advocate OR play the drug dealer lament... if it is not me it will be someone else making the profit and I will put MY profit into Silver thus crashing the worldwide monetary system thus starving the FIAT the military needs to feed off... so given that, is there any (and I appreciate metalstorm :) ) good investments available in Australia?

I'm sure the right company with war exposure would make a fortune.

However, I couldn't invest in any company that makes money from war. That is, invading another country unprovoked. That includes phoney wars based on unproved, false-flag, terror events.

The only legitimate use of military is to defend our own soil, not to invade.

Australia should fire sale its Military Subs and Navy and focus on a mobile Air force with long range strike capability in the form of Jet fighters, bombers and a shiet load of heavy and light duty choppers.
Remember the Fawklands war and those groovy cheap french missiles?
    Did the job.
