Where??? I tried to pick some berries and was told public not allowed as we may sue if we are injured. I said i would happily sign a waiver and it was of no use... We are ripped off in oz with the price of old berries that when purchased are well past their best before dates.

Why? I already know I'm right.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fractional_reserve_banking

Yes, it's wikipedia but the Fed reserve sources are at the bottom for anyone who wants to go through them. I just boiled it all down in the simplest way I could to help understanding.

Not sure why this would unpopular , but as we all know, just because it's true does t make it popular or even acceptable. This is all true, but my concerns are more for the consequences of this as a result of policies being implemented now, both by the retads we have in gubmint here and o.s.

They are a big plus, although the country shoppers/ pretend refugees might be more interested in our exceptionally( by comparison ) social security system.
And for the pcr's , yes, there are also genuine refugees.

I agree with you that it is a good place to live and you can be very happy. For now.

But over the last couple of decades it has been built more on debt than anything else and that is unsustainable. At the same time you've got a downward trend in the amount of freedom we have as individuals.

Both of these things have to be addressed if Australia is going to continue to be a good place to live. Because, history shows that many good places develop into not so good places after awhile. The trend should be concerning to any Australian that claims to love their country. Prosperity creates the opportunity for a large government presence. And things more often than not go steadily downhill from there. There are a lot of people in this world who are champing at the bit to tell other people what they are and aren't allowed to do. The types who for whatever reason don't enjoy life, so they want to make everyone else miserable too. You know what they say, misery loves company. Give them sufficient levels of power and authority and that's what they'll do (are doing).
