Thanks mate and yes, good pick-up (Fixed ) *Apologies for the oversight...* Ahoy, Welcome Aboard and thanks for the bids to Anniesilver (pushing the bid along for Lot 1 (I think (?)), only Lot that the bid amount matches ) ) and to kiona (moving to the front of the field for Lots 1, 2 & 5 (Lunars, Fiddies and the Explorers) ) Leader-Board Lot 1 (Lunar Gold) – $204 / kiona Lot 2 (Fiddies) – $61 / kiona Lot 3 (Luckies) – $131 / brisbane-coins Lot 4 (Libertads) – $90 / johnnyhann Lot 5 (Explorers) – $377 / kiona
Thinking I might need to review the reserve for Lot 5 Cook Island uses New Zealand Dollars as it's currency (see here) and these coins are Legal Tender $50 coins $1200NZD = $1094AUD (see here) *Note - Due to QEII Sovereign Head on the coin denoting "Legal Tender"...waaaay more pretty than our "plastic" Fiddies *
Don't think you need to worry too much, found this on Wikipedia.... (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cook_Islands_dollar) "A large number of commemorative non circulating collectors coins are also issued by the Cook Islands featuring an almost endless array of themes as the government has a contract in which a coin design can be commissioned and minted with the name "Cook Islands" and dollar units for a fee, making coinage a resource for extra revenue. Due to exchange schemes involving large stocks of non-circulating commemorative coins, mintages are regulated and not recognized or accepted as legal tender within the Cook Islands."
cook islands dollars never = new zealand dollars, only for comm coins, not same legal currency such as marshall island, northern mariana dollar never = US dollars or hutt river dollar not = australian dollar
