Not sure why I'm selling many of my collectables as auctions. Could do it on ebay but where's the fun for the Silver Stackers community. An Easter Holiday Gold Coin auction, Starting NOW and ending at 9pm Monday night (18 Apr 2022). Western Samoa $100 proof coin. Almost half an oz with the coin containing 0.4583 oz of gold Besides it's bullion value ($1219 AUD at current spot), only 2000 of these coins were minted by the Royal Australian Mint for the Government of Western Samoa. I have no idea then what it's numismatic value is, but at such a low mintage and being the 1st Gold Coin issued by Samoa, it would have to be a hard one for collectors to get their hands on. A link with a little info on this very hard to find coin https://www.apmex.com/product/63145/1976-samoa-gold-100-tala-us-bicentennial-proof Bidding will start with the first bid at the coins gold spot price value as of today $1219 AUD No rule against sniping other than that the exact close of bidding is by my watch, not by the watch of anyone playing the "sniping game". Everything original with this coin ie packing box, display case, information booklet & certificate of authenticity. Free post (via express post)
The current high bid is less than today's spot price.... Looks like a loss for me and a deadset bargain for some-one else.
Have you got anything Austro-Hungarian to whet my appetite perhaps. I like a good Ducat or 4...or 8!!
