Watched this earlier today. His best video to date IMHO.

I often think about the movie 'Idiocracy', and i recall when i watched it at release, how far fetched some of the scenes in that movie were.

Now i think, we are not far away at all.

I'd love to be able to see that movie...tried to get it on DVD but to no avail. American audiences didn't understand it, which is kinda ironic. But at least, like South Park, it shows that there are people in the US with their feet firmly on the ground, keeping the torch burning, waiting for all the nonsense to end.

I've only been aware of this channel for a couple of days, but I really like this guy.
Sure he is different, hell: so am I, so are you, so is everybody.

I am a friend of his. He's a great guy too, very smart, well learned and cultured. He understands the fundamentals better than most and has values many should be envious of.

His commentary in this clip reminds me of the one done by another of my YouTube faves.

Yes, we are dumbing down society
Yes, we are losing our values and ideals
Yes, we are becoming less cultured and more shallow.

But this is part of the plan, is it not?

I absolutely agree with the message behind what he says here, which is why I'm such a strong advocate of historical understanding and appreciation.

We live under the assumption that because the technology is more advanced, we as a society are also more advanced when honestly, we couldn't be more wrong.

For sure some ideals were certainly misplaced and misguided concerning technology, but in terms of human nature and culture? We're a sick joke now in all honesty.

Gotta love the hectic computer setup in the link above. One serious investor.

He is. He's a multi millionaire. Made his fortune in day trading then sold up and got out before the market(s) tanked.

He spends his life just doing the stuff he wants to do now, rather than what he has to do.

Good on him I say.
