Does this chart make anyone else really happy? or is it just me. I would love to see the faces of people that brought this cult company at 700

Finally people are starting to wake up and see Apple is an overpriced joke.

Tim Cook (new CEO) reinstated dividends when he took over last year.

With a P/E ratio of 10.2, Apple is more "bargain" than "over priced" but data doesn't necessarily relate to the company loosing it's status as a market darling.

Looks like they did start paying a dividend last year, but that won't last.

except for one major thing. This chart says Apple on the top :p

Plus Apple is down about 35% where as Gold is only down about 10%. Bit of a difference don't you think?

Well other people losing money doesn't usually make me happy!

I am happy that I didn't buy any shares but as that was never really likely, what with me not liking shares and not liking Apple.

I can imagine there is a real estate forum where they are posting a picture of the Gold Chart and saying...

Does this chart make anyone else really happy? or is it just me. I would love to see the faces of people that brought this barbarous relic at 1900

Finally people are starting to wake up and see Gold is an overpriced joke.

Really, so when gold or silver go up you get sad? The only reason its going up is because some other currency someone owns is losing value and therefore they are losing money.

    does that mean there is also someone on that forum that says;

"Looks like the housing chart!" ?

I can honestly say I have never in my life owned an Apple product, and the only Apple product I have ever used was Quiktime - and even that program is a total computer prostitute, wanting to take control of all of my playing functions and it keeps bugging me to reinstall it....

I HATE APPLE! and I loath iTunes!

My gold and silver has never once bugged me....

Probably not, I can't really remember that far back though. When it goes down in price does that mean the people get their money back?

I doubt it, those people on the RE forums don't need to look at charts to see how their investment is doing, they just look at the rent coming in every week.

I have avoided Apple products as well, they were banging on about their ipod or whatever came out before that as if they had invented MP3 themselves, I was running an Archos AV380 at the time, 80GB hard drive, 10 hour battery life (apparently) video and music plus you could add a camera attachment and make videos. As well as record off the TV and it had TV output. But it didn't have white earphones.

I never understood why people were getting mugged for their iPods either.

Still, less demand should mean less Chinese workers committing suicide

wow.. so much hate for Apple. lol. I don't think I'm qualified enough to get into a heated debate here.. but I've had ipods and macs as well as Windows based pcs. Each have their purposes. Good luck to you! :)

uh, gold is less than 15% down from its all time high.

Apple is more than 35% down from its all time high.

It's like comparing.... Apple and oranges :)

Yep. I doubt that anyone that derides Apple or Steve Jobs ever did anything as remarkable as him or his company. I find it amusing that Joe meatball that works in some IT business in the suburbs thinks that they are being profound by saying "Apple suck, they make crap and their OS sucks and they deserve to fail". Really little man?

Only apple object I'll ever own is my ipod. Ease of use. Will never own an iphone. But having an ipod means Itunes/Quiktime.

I had the great idea to delete Quiktime once. Took a few seconds and I thought "Great now I'll never have those annoying updates and restarts demanded for a program I never use while I'm in the middle of something."

Well little did I know. Caused a great issue in that Itunes refused to work without Quiktime, I didn't realise how integrated the two are. Tried to reinstall Quiktime, but couldn't on its' own. Ok, lets reinstall Itunes/Quik. Which became impossible as I got to the stage where reinstall stopped and got a handy little message that effectively said: "Cannot install Quiktime as the downloader cannot find Quiktime on this computer."

So I couldn't install something because it already needed to be installed to install it....

Needed to eventually reformat my computer to do a clean install of Itunes. All that time and stupidity reinstalling Windows etc for something I 100% will never ever use. I was furious.
