nope. 6 only!! Just asked, and confirmed. I had no choice...my hands were tied...I had to buy the one they just listed for 489.00 I know, I paid a lot more than you... But folks will be paying a lot more than me, when they see that actual signature series is only 5 on gold and only 6 on silver. WOWZA!! Of course only for the serious collectors of these types items...and we know there are plenty out there!! yeah baby. That's a high mintage coin for me...a bit too high...but I'd thought I'd ask for kicks. It's probably like 25 would be my guess, just like the spiderman coins...thanks sir.
These are awesome. I've got a few little ones right now, and this may be just the thing to spur their interest in holding coins and metals.
Update as of 12/5 on actual signatures. Sorry I didn't have all the details, but this should be accurate. From: jared.williams To: barsenault Subject: RE: Quick follow Up Date: Fri, 5 Dec 2014 13:40:42 +0000 There were 5 signed Gold and 10 Signed Silver. As of yesterday, there were 4 Gold sold, and 4 silver sold.
I wasn't going to hang my hat on that number (6) for the signed COAs for the silver proofs , as it seemed just ridiculously too low, and an odd number at that. I am still quite happy if less than 1% (75) of them are signed , and am surprised that they still have 6 available. Then again, this close to Christmas expenses are very tight for everyone ... Jarred??? Wasn't he the guy that was doing the Subway commercials?? I think he gave you bad info unless Frank Miller signed the "10" COAs randomly as I received mine today and it is #34. I also received two other COAs with the copied COAs, and they were #227 and #235. I ordered all three coins at the same time. Incidently, I ordered on the same day the coins were first advertised (at 4:38 p.m. E.S.T.) which I believe was less than two hours after the official news release of the coins release. So I was somewhat surprised that my COAs are numbered that high. I am not sure whether APMEX "locks-in" the position of one's order, or merely releases the coin COAs in the order which they receive payment?. (Typically I have sent them a wire transfer with 36 hours, but for this order I sent them a check which they held for 5 days) . Per their e-mail to me : Order#: 9018785 Order Date: Nov 26 2014 4:38PM Dear xxxx , Thank you for shopping with APMEX. This email confirms we have received your order. Once we have confirmed your payment for this order, we will begin gathering the items you selected and will process your order immediately Cheers, Luker
No, the other two COAs (#227 and #235) have copied COA signatures appropriate as I ordered. Could also be that the actual signed COAs are being done in batches (ie a certain percentage of each batch released ). By the way, APMEX has not had any of the coins in stock for the last 1 week, and I don't think that the New Zealand Mint was ever selling either coin with the authentic actual signature. NZ Mint has 75 of the silver in stock, and 11 of the gold. Not certain of their allotment but The Coin Shoppe (Canada) sold out a long time ago. Several silver 2oz coins are listed on eBay for ~$175 US Cheers, Luker
Really well done unboxing/presentation video for the 2oz Silver Proof. This guy has a lot of time on his hands!! Cheers, Luker
From another poster: "Just emailed New Zealand Mint, here is there response to a mintage question on the Signed Coins: Hi Kraig 10 Gold and 40 Silver were signed and sold. That is the total worldwide that were hand signed by Miller. The remaining certs all have facsimile signatures.
