Go to watchuseek.com, I believe they are the world's biggest watch forum. I used to spend as much time there as I do on SS now. Those guys should be able to help you out.
That was the first place I found but I can't find a section in the forum about inquiries like this. Would you happen to know a ball park figure for a watch like that?
Even tho Antique, rarity will set the price at an auction house, being an antique buff just looking at it i would say $80-$100,given time to investigate the piece and providing history may increase it x5 or more. Investigate properly before setting a price.
I cant read the face,What are the words on it? If you get stuck i have a friend in london that may know how much its worth, but he always quotes in Euro???
Try chrono24 with Franck Muller as the search string for ballpark figures. Its more of a marketplace than a forum though. http://www.chrono24.com/en/franckmuller/index-2.htm?dosearch=true&query=franck+muller
If you go there and find the sub-section that talks about those watches or close to it and post a new thread with clear pictures, they'll be able to give you a lot of info.
Watchyouseek.com is great.... I have a very unhealthy addiction to watches. It is a bit hard to see the details on the face of your watch so it is too difficult to tell what its worth.
http://classicwatch.com/discus/index.html try that! I had used it in the past, there is a guy in charge, other moderators. Based in US
Checked a few forums out and you aren't allowed to give valuations on these watch forums? I have no idea why, seems pretty stupid that you can't give a price gauge on a watch forum about watches zzzzzzzzzzz Also does anyone know any locations in Melbourne where I could bring the watches in and get them evaluated or something?
go to manchester unity building, city, collins&swanston, plenty of watchmakers in there. Just look at the directory.
