    Just got the email from the Perth mint.

    ANDA show dragons - limited release of 1,000

    See you on the 3 / 4 March.

    I'm not sure if this is one per person etc but I will be taking my family and going both days if I can. I don't really care what people think about over saturation of the dragon coins. Limited to 1,000 - the tiger basically impossible to find and fetching around $1,000 if you can find one - the ANDA dragon has got to be one of the biggest no brainers around.

    This is of course all in my opinion.

    I dont think this is possible, as far as i know its like 1 per customer. so you will need to bring the family or be very nice to the perth mint staff maybe he/she will allow you to get 2. I sent my staff to one of the ANDA shows one year wearing a mini skirt and a tank top. needless to say she got 2 coins. it might be worth a try.
    Oh im not sure how perth show works but i do recall an entry fee. So if your asking perth people to get one of these coins for you at the show, it might be worth the courtesy to add alittle more $$$ for your coin. Sometimes they charge you a arm and a leg to enter.

    well the mintage in Perth will be 1000, but there will also be the melb, syd, bris,Adel etc shows at 1000 each as well

    but prob still worth getting

    predict a scramble on opening day at each show

    don't forget the entry fee per person

    It was many years ago.I dont think my staff will do it anymore, She was alot younger then and just started work. She got alot smarter over the years and if i ask her to do it again i think i would be up for sexual harassment. :lol:

    You are probably right - I haven't paid that much attention to these in the past.

    But wouldn't be surprised if the Perth Mint did release a 1000 at each show for the dragons - or maybe the rest of us will get privy versions :lol:

    A little OT but I have a 2oz Rabbit from last year For Sale you can have it for $250 and serial #555 just thought if anyone was getting Dragons and wanted to make up a set, at least you know where one is. If you can provide recent sales showing cheaper, I may be flexible with price but this is a good serial number.

    Now back OT I may go Sat morning to have a look. Want the $1 "P" coin.

    Each person can get two 2oz dragons.

    Entry fee is $10 for an adult which is quite reasonable.

    The question now is what people think they are worth on the open market given how popular they are. :)

    Considering how long the lune at the Perth Mint stall was , i doubt there will be any left by this afternoon .

    Even people who got there at opening time, got straight in the line to by them missed out. I have gone to the mint and lodged a complaint in person. We will see.
