    Are you weighing jewelry stones, ect?

    If not, cheap $10 scales from China off ebay work fine for me.

    I bought two. One that does 500 grams and under (to 0.01) and the other for 500g to 1kg (to 0.1).

    Get ones that max weigh 200-300grams. 200gram max very good for anything under 1oz down to hundredths of a gram. 300g can do 10oz bars (> 311g) by using the tare function with reasonable accuracy.
