"All Gold" auction #1 of One and Two Rand gold coins, ending 8pm AEDT on Sat 24 Feb

This is the first of a few auctions of gold items I'll be offering over the next few weeks. They include coins, medallions, minted bars and poured bars, ranging from just over 1/10 oz to 1 oz weights.

First up are these one and two Rand gold coins from South Africa.
These are nice bullion coins suitable for anyone starting out with investing in gold, or for those who want to expand their collections to include some interesting foreign coins, and I'm starting the bids below spot price.

Auction and Sale Conditions

• This auction for each lot will end after 8pm AEDT* (NSW/VIC/ACT) Saturday 24 February and once there have been no bids on that lot for 5 minutes.
• Time will be determined by Silver Stackers time stamps of posts.
• Minimum bid increment of $1.
• Payment by PayID or bank transfer, or optionally cash for face-to-face transactions.
• Postage at choice and risk of buyer, or F2F in a library or shopping centre in any of the central Brisbane suburbs.
• If postage is required I will post items once payment is received in my bank account, within one or two business days.

Eight hours to go (subject to the 5-minute sniping extensions).
At today's spot price of $3,105.74 per oz, the gold value in Lots 1 and 2 is $365, and in Lot 3 it's $731.

 

Lots 1 and 3 sold pending payment.

Next auction will be Kruger Rands (half and whole ounces) taking place this coming week, starting with below-spot prices again.
